Action:

1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Refresh' tab.
NOTE: If your computer does not have a 'Refresh' tab, you will probably need a software program to change the refresh rate. Contact the manufacturer of your computer, monitor, or video card for the appropriate software or instruction.
5) In the 'Monitor Refresh Rates' group, locate the 'Desktop are' that your monitor is set up for, and select a larger value from the appropriate drop-down list box.
EXAMPLE: If your monitor is set up with a desktop area of 800x600, select a higher value from the '800x600' drop-down list box.
6) Click 'Apply'.
7) Click 'OK'.
